Kirsten & Dallas

Writer: Taylor SnowmanTaylor Snowman

This wedding is what dreams are made of. Two gorgeous people... inside and out. Two amazing, loving families. Tons of funny, supportive, kind friends. A gorgeous church. The perfect reception venue. (Shoutout -- if you're getting married in Canton, The Venue is THE place to have your reception. It is perfect. Seriously.)

When I am your wedding photographer, I don't just show up on the day and capture what happens. I've done that before when I first started my business, and it's a mess. Everyone is stressed. What I do now is plan the entire day for the couple with the whole idea of savoring every single moment. Creating a day that isn't stressful. A day that is peaceful, joyful, and fun... all the things a wedding day should be. This day went so smoothly from start to finish.

A few of my favorite moments from the day... Kirsten getting into her dress with her mom was such a special moment. Dallas's reaction when Kirsten walked down the aisle... priceless. Having a blast with the bridal party taking portraits at Jones Park. All the dances at the reception. The warmth of people talking and having fun at the reception.

To finish my process with my couples, I love to do an in person client reveal. I never want to send you a link and have you be standing in line at Target and looking through your wedding images for the first time. This is the first time you are reliving your entire wedding day. You need to be sitting down, be comfy, and enjoy the beautiful video I have created for you. Watching couples relive their day is probably my favorite part of the entire process. Kirsten and Dallas got married less than 3 weeks ago and they said multiple times "I forgot about that!" and "I forgot we did that!" That's why I do what I do and I am so passionate about it. In less than 3 weeks, there were moments they had already forgotten. That's why I LOVE photography so much. It brings moments from the most important day of their lives back to life so they can always look back and remember all the feelings they felt.

Kirsten and Dallas have become my friends, and I love them and their whole family. I am so thankful to both of them for letting me capture all these memories for them.

Love,

Taylor
